Gamblers Go Back

I liked to take part in any kinds of gambling before. I started from a low-stakes gambler to a high-stakes one. When I lost all of my money, I will borrow others' to continue to gamble and I betted insensitively regardless of the consequence. Gambling made me lost my friends, broke up with my family and lost motivation in my work. How could the one in this situation be a happy man?

I had tried to quit gambling, but I couldn't really escape from it. I stopped for a while but I would gamble again very soon. I regretted every time, yet the instant excitement from gambling made me couldn't control my behaviour. My mother felt very upset about me, she always cried and lastly, she took me to Caritas A G Conselling Centre.

The consellor analyzed to me about the adverse effects of gambling kindly. She knew my past very well and made me realized why I had gone in a wrong path. She also helped me to learn the right way of treating others and to rebuild the target of my life. Moreover, she guided me to establish my interests and other healthy activities, raised my ambition and led me steadily become a useful person.

Now I won't addict to gambling again and I won't waste money extravagantly. After I quitted gambling, I experience more in my life. I have target and I will achieve it step by step. I will think twice before I take action, do more good things and concern more about the people around me. When I realize my positive change, I feel hopeful in my life.

Today, I can truly feel the warmth of the world, I gratitude Caritas A G Conselling Centre and the counsellor from my bottom of my heart. I am the one who had gone in a wrong track, I addicted to gambling for eight years but I finally changed. I suggest other gamblers who need help to find a way to quit the bad habit. Gambling is really harmful and it can make you lost everything.
